Ford 1320 OK for Pushing Brush with FEL?

Posted by JD on April 03, 2002 at 18:29:20 from (152.163.197.76):

I have about 13 acres to deal with, 6 in pasture / yard and 7 in woods. I'm considering a used Ford 1320 with an FEL & belly mower from a reputable local dealer. I plan on using it to push horse manure and clear some underbrush / move some downed trees, etc. I presently have a Kubota B7200 with a 60" belly, but it seems to be a bit small for pushing around 7 acres of underbrush.(Rough ground seems tough on a tractor of this size.) I would like to stay with a single tractor compact enough to handle the yard, yet big enough to do the FEL work and drag a bush hog occasionally. Any opinions? Ford 1320 OK as a fairly inexpensive trade up?
