WE ARE GOING TO PURCHASE A CAB AND AIR TRACTOR TO BE MAINLEY USED FOR HAY BALEING. CUTTING, PULLING ROUND BALER OR SQUARE BALER.
HAVE LOOKED AT THE JD5520--KUBOTA M9000--AND THE LANDINI GHIBLI 80
REALLY WANTED THE JD BUT THE GREEN COST IS $35,000
THE KUBOTA IS $28,500 THE LANDINI IS $28,100 ALL THE TRACTORS ARE EQUIPED THE SAME SO THAT WE COULD DO A FAIR COST COMPARISON.
HAVE RULED OUT THE CAB AND AIR M9000 BECAUSE WHEN 2 DIFFERENT DEALERS WILL TELL YOU THAT KUBOTA CAB UNITS ARE NOT UP TO PAR AND YOU NOTICE IT YOURSELF. THE JD UNIT IS SUPER NICE AND WELL THOUGHT OUT BUT THE UP FRONT COST IS $7000 MORE.
THE LANDINI CAB IS ABOUT HALFWAY IN BETWEEN.
WE ARE RUNNING A LANDINI OPEN STATION 8860 NOW AND HAVE HAD NO REAL PROBLEMS AND OUT LOCAL DEALER IS SUPER.
MY QUESTION HAS ANYONE HAD ANY BAD EXPERIENCES WITH THE LANDINI LINE OF TRACTORS AND IF SO WHAT?
DOES ANYONE HAVE A CAB AND AIR MODEL AND IF SO THEIR OPINION?
I KNOW THE DEER WILL HAVE MORE RESALE DOWN THE ROAD BUT IS THAT WORTH AN EXTRA $7000 ON A TRACTOR THAT WILL BE KEPT A MIN OF 12 TO 15 YEARS. LOT OF MONEY TO SPEND AND WOULD LIKE ANY INPUT I CAN GET. THANK YOU.
