NH451 mower on Kubota M tractor

Anyone had experience mounting a NH 451 sickle mower on an M series Kubota tractor (60 hp)?
I tried yesterday but the stabilizer bars are hitting the lift arms--especially the adjusting box on the right lift arm.
Do I need to shorten those stabilizer bars (round bars with roll pin in the top)? They are the part that interacts to make the sickle lift when you raise the rest of the machine.

Or has someone rigged an extension to the top link mounting point that would place the U-frame farther back and therefore get the stabilizer bars farther back also?
