Re: Re: NH451 mower on Kubota M tractorPosted by Dave on May 09, 2002 at 04:37:49 from (63.10.83.96): In Reply to: Re: NH451 mower on Kubota M tractor posted by DAVE M on May 09, 2002 at 04:08:15: I posted here after contacting two local dealers who both handle NH (both were long-standing Ford dealers) AND Kubota. In both instances the folks I talked with sounded lost--the best they said: "It's supposed to fit." They did not know of any adapter kit. The Kubota M.... is not a compact and was bought by my neighbor from one of those dealers! The other dealer does mainly handle Kubota compacts and construction equipment. After looking at the setup more yesterday evening, I think I have figured out that could shorten those stabilizer frame "rods". In the manual that I have for 450 mowers, that is given as what is needed to fit the mower to a Cockshutt 540 and JD 1010 tractors. Thanks for trying to help. Other comments would still be appreciated. I normally fit this mower on my Oliver 550, but it is in the shop for steering gear repairs.
