I work in the north Texas area doing field work for small and medium acreage owners, along with my day job. I was looking in a newspaper that is oriented tward the farming community in East Texas, and they quoted average pricing for small square bales of hay grazer and the like of around $3.50 in the field. I've never charged that much to cut, rake and bale. So I'm wondering, what do you guys charge for that kind of work, and where is most of your work( regionally). Maybe I'm way low.
