Hey Robert in NY,
I have (2) Woods cutters now. One is a Cadet 72, and it just amazes me how much abuse i've given it!! I've taken out many 3"+ trees and huge amounts of 2" stuff!! My seal leaks now, but i've had this cutter for over 10 years now, and i've run it on a 68 pto HP tractor a lot, so i'm not complaining. I've never had any bolts come loose on either of mine.
The Brush Bull is a new designed cutter, do you think it will have the same gear box as yours??? Could it be that your cutter is the exception??
I went from Bush Hog to Woods, cause the BH cutter deck was all cracked up with much less use than my Cadet has had, and now BH is getting their gear boxes from china. On top of that, i've read numerous complaints about those chinese gear boxes!
To me the med. Brush Bull looks like the best med. duty cutter made today.
Robert from W. Mi.
