hopefully they have improved it but Wood's didn't want to cover the gearbox but my dealer took care of it for me anyways. It is getting hard to find anything that holds up, I paid $1700 for the MD 172 and it acts up from day one. The bolts that hold the cover on kept loosening and spraying oil out so I had to constantly add oil to the gearbox then the bottom seal went and siezed her up. My dealer told me that those gearbox's all had that problem so I don't think I was an exception. I would probally give Woods a second chance because of the dealer not so much Woods itself but it will be a different model now.
