You didn't say if anyone had checked anything yet, so start with the simple stuff. An easy adjustment may cure it. Very few tractors that run excellent except for a below spec high idle speed need pump or injector work. I work on New Hollands for a living, but an L2950 GST is too nice a tractor to walk away from without a little checking out.
