We are looking for a used tractor but the prices seem quite outrageous through a dealer. Is there a standard book for tractor pricing like the Kelly Blue Book for autos? I hate paying more than something is worth!! I work too hard to earn that paycheck!
It seems like small diesel tractors are like pick-up trucks, everyone "has" to have one so the prices are high. We need one for small farm jobs, not to mow the lawn.
Also, has anyone had any experience with Nothern Tool & Equipment tractors? My feeling is they may be the "disposable" kind of tractor and that is NOT what I want. It's too bad Consumer Reports doesn't check tractors and rate them like cars!
Thanks for any help.
