Machinery Forum JD 5410 Hyd. Problem [ Expand ] [ View Follow Ups ] [ Post Followup ] [ Return to Forum ] Posted by Bguy on September 24, 2002 at 13:26:44 from (65.80.181.25): I have a 3 spool valve hooked up thru the power beyond port which I use for my T-N-T (Tip and Tilt). It has been installed for a couple of years and has worked perfectly until lately. I was moving some gravel using my FEL and box scraper and noticed that when I adjusted the T-N-T it moved like it was in slow motion. After awhile it would not move at all. I could drop the top link down due to the weight on it but it would not lift. The FEL hooked up to the Mid SCV still worked as it should so it wasn't the hyd. pump. Fluid level was good. So, the 2 mid mount remotes work great but the 3 rear ones are dead for no apparent reason. It seems as though the spool valve is defective or blocked. The sticks move fine but there is no noise, line jump or any sign of "life". Anyone that has any idea where to start looking please let me know. My inclination right now is to replace the spool valve but I don't want to spend the money if that's not the problem. Follow Ups: Re: JD 5410 Hyd.
