Hi,
I have a 1985 Cub 1610, (Briggs & Stratton 40.0 cu, two cylinder) the engine just shut off, like it ran out of gas. It had plenty of gas, but it was almost out of oil. I have been told that they had an oil sensor that'll kill the engine to prevent damage,(not sure if thats true).

I fill it with oil and it will not stay running, it'll act like it wants to start but it just won't. Ever heard of an oil sensor that kills the motor on a cub?????? where else should I look???

Thank you!!!!! Mike
