I recently purchased a 784 int. farm tractor with 2500 hrs. Midway thru cutting this
summer I noticed when i shifted from Reverse to low I'd let out the cluth and there
would be nothing. I'd move it back to neutral then back to low then it would go.this
would happen maybe 2-3 times in a day. later this summer iwas cutting on a slight
hill in low range, 3rd gear when the tractor started running off like nothing was
holding it back. I got in onlevel and it was ok. I checked hyd. oil and mahbe added
1qt. come to the hill and it was the same thing. i pressed the left brake and it went to
the floor, pushed it again and it had brake. I had to put the tractor in reverse to get it
back up the hill to level. i changed hyd.oil filter prior to the season also. anyone with
suggestions or a place to start looking would be greatly appreciated.
