Someone had removed the serial number plate from the side of the hood. I asked a dealer if he could get the serial number for this tractor, he said yes but its been a year with no reply. I think the tractor is a 83 or 84? The engine serial number is CE 31106U722561K . Can I purchase the plate from a dealer and stamp in the serial number? Any ideas on how to get the serial number?
