I was given a #8 backhoe attachment. I need to find out if I can modify a #8 to fit my JD955. Has anyone ever done this ? I would also like to find out how the #7 mounts - does anyone have a manual that they can fax a coyuple of pages ? I called my local JD dealer and they faxed me parts descriptions for both units and they look very similar. Does anyone know if I can just buy a #7 mounting frame and fit it on my #8 backhoe ? Any/all comments and suggestions are welcome.
