I'm not sure I'd try it honestly, The smallest tractor that JD seems to recommend in the brochures I have weighs nearly 1000lbs more than a 955. I figure the front of the tractor will be pretty light when moving and the whole machine will get pulled around quite a bit when digging. The subframe question is best answered by a dealer. In short, It might fit, but not work very well. BTW, there are several #7 hoes on tractorbynet classifieds.
