Hello all,
Any Kubota techs out there?
As the weather got colder here,(S.Ontario)the oil pressure light is taking longer and longer to go out until now,the low oil shut off is kicking in and shutting down the engine.
It has been back to the dealer and a "pump kit" was instaled as part of a bulletin per the tech rep.At the time the tech rep was looking after a similar problem in Timmins Ont.(much colder than here)
Other M8200s'around here seem to be ok and the dealer has been informed of this, says it has a 3 year warranty and continue to use it. But getting to 3 years and when the warranty runs out then what?.
Oil/filters changed at spec intervals.Kubota oil 15W40 and filters.Block heater hasn't really helped, tractor is inside unheated barn.
My 450,000Km K-car put out the oil light faster than this thing.
Should a 30W oil be used? Any ideas?
TIA,Merry Christmas to all and a Prosperous New Year.
