There are lots of support sites for older tractors (this one is very, very good). US based manufacturers are moving into that market (China). NH owns a factory in China (and, I suspect, others). Cheap, cheap, cheap. The pressure of competition combined with high, high, high taxes is driving everything overseas. The older US iron was made/designed to last and, within limits, made for quality. If you can't afford (or don't want to pay for) a new tractor produced by a US based company (even though it is certainly outsourced overseas at least in part) then go for older US iron. John
