This is the "bullet" shaped regulator valve correct? Accessed thru a plug in the front timing gear cover ?? ...There is another valve in some engines that mounts into the block facing this valve but only removed once the front plate is removed from the engine. The standard oil pressure regulator is inserted into the hole in the timing cover...pointed end inward..then the spring fits into it...then the plug is screwed in...
