Digger--backhoe or a trackhoe? I run one only two or 3 times a year so control location doesn't matter that much every time it's on a different machine, concentrate on basics-- pulling a grade in the bottom of the ditch, dumping dirt in a uniform pile at the side while using the side of the bucket to push what you dumped the scoop before further out. Watching out for basics like not smashing hoses on stabalizers because you didnt pick them up all the way, turning and tracking backwards on the turn table so the back up horn doesn't deafen you! HAVE FUN!
