Re: NH 35 series or TL linePosted by JHEnt on December 10, 2000 at 12:45:20 from (216.138.56.116): In Reply to: NH 35 series or TL line posted by Bill on December 05, 2000 at 19:42:40:
they seem to be good sturdy tractors. They are based from Fiat designs. I only know of one farm who has had problems with a 6635. They forced the shifter and bent internal shift mechanisms. The TL is supposed to have heavier shift components in it. Of course these guys are very hard on this tractor and it looks it. Its less than 3 years old and the sheet metal is bent and twisted. They even dropped large square bales off the loader back onto it. They are lucky the operator didn't get hurt that time. On the negative side the Italian engineers did not make this tractor to be worked on easily. So far though that one is the only one that has ever needd any repairs in my area. I would not be afraid to buy one although I like the TS tractors alot better than the TL. The TS tractorsare a little heavier framed and sit a little taller. They are based from Ford designs.
