Re: What tractors beside JD in the 45-80 hp range are any good?Posted by Woodbeef on April 23, 2003 at 05:15:20 from (207.164.209.155): In Reply to: What tractors beside JD in the 45-80 hp range are any good? posted by Looking for new tractors on April 22, 2003 at 10:39:28:
Depending on where you are, there are many choices from major brands to independant manufacturers. Best thing to do start shopping around to see what you do or do not like about each brand, and series. If you are in the areas where your dealer can send you out demo tractors then do so. Nothing like prolonged time behind the wheel to find out if the tractor works for you or not. Try and get more than one brand of the size you are interested in out at the same time, and compare them side by side. If one of the dealers is not up to a head to head trial make sure and remember that when it comes to the purchase time. Best of luck, and don't let the Deeroids get to you too much!!
