Lift on Kubota tractor not workingPosted by Tad Angell on April 27, 2003 at 16:26:53 from (66.26.212.93):
I have an L245 Kubota tractor. The hydraulic lift with go up and down empty, but if you put a load on it you have to rev it to full trottle and sometimes even get off and lift it by hand. Occasionally while driving down the road the lift will just jump up even with a load on it. Once up, the lift will stay up (not leak down) over time. I have already cleaned the metal filter and replaced the fluid with the same amount I drained out. Does anyone know what the problem could be? How much hydraulic fluid does this tractor need? I put in 5 gallons, but do not know if this is even close. my email is tangell1@triad.rr.com
