It has the front axle and the 4cyl engine of the IFA W 50 truck, with appr. 100HP/DIN. First Items were the ZT300 (2wd) and the ZT303(4wd). Later the ZT320 and ZT323. They had been built as long as the GDR exists, appr. till 1990. Now in the Fortschritt Plant in Schoenebeck established Doppstatdt with Production of the Doppstadt-Trac. So Fortschritt isn`t anymore. ZT stands for "Zugtraktor" (pulling Tractor). Parts and used Tractors are still avilable in eastern Part of Germany. The Fortschritt are very cheap, so I´m thinking about buying one for our Farm in Poland.
