Re: NEW HOLLAND TN 65Posted by TAB on May 23, 2003 at 21:30:31 from (65.145.45.214): In Reply to: NEW HOLLAND TN 65 posted by JEFF76 on May 22, 2003 at 04:55:17: I have owned a TN65S (S meaning Supersteer)with a 33LA front end loader for about a year now. It has been a very good tractor for me. However, I must admit I am just a "hobby farmer" with very few acres. I bought the tractor to do some brushhogging (6' brushhog) and to use the loader for lifting things along with minor dirt work.....digging, pushing, and scooping. It performs everything quite well for me. The FEL takes some getting used to with Supersteer. I must agree somewhat with what Brutus said in an earlier post. The power of the TN65S is adequate for what I use it for, but certainly not overpowering. If you are going to do more "work" with it (larger implements, bigger brushhog, baling, etc.), you might want to jump up to the TN75......I think it will cost you about 2k more, but I think it will provide the additional power worthy of a tractor of this size and weight. Don't get me wrong.........I see the power of the TN65 as being adequate, but it all depends on what you are going to do with it. I would highly recommend the electronic shuttle if you are going to do any kind of loader work. It will cost you some $$$$, but I think it is worth it.
