Re: NEW HOLLAND TN 65Posted by Robert in NY on June 10, 2003 at 16:29:15 from (24.49.126.230): In Reply to: NEW HOLLAND TN 65 posted by JEFF76 on May 22, 2003 at 04:55:17:
I have had my TN 65 for 3 years now. Other then a few loose bolts it has been great. Mine is just the plain TN65, FWA, 32LA loader and standard shuttle with 3 remotes. As for it being underpowered, all tractors are underpowered because the bigger the tractor the bigger the implements so you are constantly using up the hp that the machine has. I use a 12' International 120 disk, 3 bottom International plow and 4 row IH 56 planter and the tractor handles them all fine unless I am trying to work in a soup bowl like this year with all this rain. I would love the extra power of the 75 but you still have to worry about running out of traction which is what my problem is. She doesn't bog down or stall out but she will lose traction in mud with a 12' disk behind her if the disc sinks too much but all tractors have that problem with the right size disk. Give them a try and you won't be sorry. Great tractors and they have a great price also. Take care.
