Pete was refering to the CAT compact tractors, not row crop models!!

The Massey, CAT, and AGCO compacts are all made by Iseki, and are all pretty much the same except for paint and a few options.

The CNH and the NH Boomer are the same tractor, except you can't get "super steer" on the CNH. I like super steer, and it kinda sways me tward a Boomer.

Kubota's are nice compacts, but man the parts sure are expensive, and you no longer can get "some" parts for older Kubota's, that bothers me, and makes me wonder if all the compacts from Japan will have that problem???

Kioti (Korean made) makes some fairly nice compacts, although they don't have all the bells and whistles some of others have. I'm told the parts prices are reasonable and they are good about supplying parts for older tractors. They also make some bigger utility tractors too.

At 40 hp, i'd be looking at buying a REAL Utility tractor, at least it will be build HD, instead med duty at best!! Compacts are just built too light, and not designed for HD use!
