Machinery Forum JD 2940 Hydraulic Problems [ Expand ] [ View Follow Ups ] [ Post Followup ] [ Return to Forum ] Posted by TJ on August 06, 2003 at 14:25:05 from (66.129.200.238): My 2940's hydraulics chatter and shake in low idle speeds as if the main pump is starving. Its especialy bad when the oil heats up. I have a loader on this tractor, and in low idle the bucket wont even lift up. Everything is fine at 1500+ RPM. The main pump and scv's have recently been rebuilt. New tranny filter also. The tests in the tech manual show everything in spec. Anybody have any ideas?
