I would not accept a Gehl 7800 even if they gave it to me. This tractor is a very powerful machine, but has so many design flaws it will give you much grief. I have had my machine for one year and eight months and it has never completed one days work. In fact, as I am typing this response, the tractor is in the shop. They came and picked it up this morning. The tractor has blown hoses, leaked hydraulic fluid, run hot, and shut down for no apparent reason. A variety of other problems have occured, but are too numerous to mention. In my dealings with the company, I have found they lack ethics and character. Customer service is seriously inadequate. I owned the smaller size just under the 7800. What an awesome machine. The consistent, persistent problems of the 7800 have ruined my business. Look into investing in another machine. I can't in good conscience reccommend this one.
