The bearings on the pump drive go down and cause the same thing. This tractor has a open drive line from engine to trans. If you can see it turning then the problem is in the pump drive. See you Case/IH dealer and he can sell you the bearing up date kit when you repair it. The tractor will have to be split and front cover removed then you can see the bearing set up I am talking about. First off remove the pump assy. and turn the engine to see if the gears are turning it could be a broken shaft in the pistion pump. I would bet it is the pump drive bearings. Hope this helps.
