Altho my JD 400 is older than this forums norm, I havent gotten any response from the older JD industrial forum.
I would like to add a hydraulic powered bush hog to my backhoe loader.
Ive seen some models made for skidloader attachment but those are purpose built and expensive compared to a PTO/3pt hitch type. Its my thought to add a hydraulic motor in place of the PTO driveshaft and power it from my system hydraulics.
Pump is of a variable displacement 28GPM @2000PSI.
Ive been told by one equiptment dealer that the variable displacement design wont work with a constant flow attachment.
Anyone tried this with success?
