Jim, there are a number of choices out there!
Are you full time farming or a "weekend warrior" on 20 acres, a little mowing, food plots for the deer, etc, etc?
Are you wanting new or used?
If you are farming, stick to the main flavors out there. They are heavier built. Will last longer and do a better job from that view point.
On the other side ther are one are two good choices and the res are crap. Kubota is at the top of this list. IMHO..STAY AWAY..very very far away from any thing made in R.O.C. Every little equipment dealer in the country wants to sell you one of these little tractors from China. They are all metric, parts availability are questionable at best. Operators station were laid out for some one with a size 4 shoe. Eurgonomics are thrown out the window. What resale?
Stick with the better known tractors.
Get yourself a "Fastline" mag, Tractors and eqipment on your area, They are State/Region specific. Call 800-332-7854 , They are free on a quarterly basis, or $18.00 for 1/month for 30 months.
Hope this helps,
John A.
