What tractor would be a good choice for my dad?

My dad is 67 and lives in northern New York, cuts firewood, uses a snow blower and cuts lots of grass. What tractor could assist with all of this and still remind him of the days he was on a farm as a young man. I sure would like to surprise him if I could afford something reasonable. Any direction would be appreciated.
