Earl,

Just a couple of thoughts:

1) What tractor(s) did your dad use on the farm when he was a young man?

2) Did it/they have electric start or hand crank (which might be more effort than he wants to expend these days)? No disrespect to your dad, but I'm 66 and I wish my Model B had electric start, hydraulics, power steering, etc.

3) Use of a snowblower and cutting a lot of grass might indicate that he should have a tractor with a 3-point.

Just some thoughts - I've found that using a tractor "just like I grew up on" is not as much fun now as it was in "the good ol' days" when I didn't know any better. On the other hand, I don't start and use my "B" very often or for anything useful, so it doesn't matter, and it does look just like the one I grew up on, so I guess it's fine for me.

Best of luck,

Stan
