looking to find how to check the rear end oil level on a older ford 4000 (actually 4500 ind.) drain plug on bottom, large fill plug on top, but no level plug on either of the axle housings or the rear itself... Center housing (Hyd. lift section) is not used due to the fact that there is no 3pt hitch. (It stays empty). So there is no fill plugs or level plug on it. ( as one might think that oil level may transfer between the two). What the heck?
