Well this should be a good topic. I called my current insurance company to find out rates for insuring my hay equipment and tractor and liability. They won't touch farms. So I called state farm, farmers, etc. I was told that to get a home owners policy with farm coverage I would also have to insure all my vehicles, cabin and other toys through them even though the rates with my current insurance everything other than home owners is better. They tell me it is a hard market therefore they can ask for all or nothing. I was told the insurance companies had a bad 3 yrs with claims. I asked him how they did the previous 30. ANY THOUGHTS
