Re: Gehl Skid Steer loadersPosted by Shane on January 12, 2004 at 12:57:16 from (66.228.102.4): In Reply to: Gehl Skid Steer loaders posted by Darcy on January 12, 2004 at 08:03:48:
We have a Gehl 4625 and a Case 1840. The Gehl is a decent loader. It is supposedly the same horse as the Case but feels a bit smaller. The hydraulics are way way slower on the Gehl, takes about twice as long to lift the arms up than the Case. And for a tall guy like myself the Gehl hasn't got enough leg room, the floor is higher on it. Now they may have changed the hydraulic speed on the newer 35 series Gehls but our Case has over 7000 hours with only minor fixes done and we haven't touched the engine at all! What size you looking at, that may make a difference too.
