That should not have blew off from running it in the cold. Our 3020 deere has been running every day of the winter for the past 30 plus years, in northern New York winters where it is not unusual to be 20 or 30 below. Also I doubt that it could have broke from driving over snow or ice. We try to spread manure all winter, and usually start to pile it when we simply get stuck from the tractor and spreader hanging up on the snow. Neithor of these things has ever broke off the filter cover. I think you have some other major problems!
