Hi, this goes back to my post about the TN being able to handle the NH 575. I started to think that instead of waiting till next year to buy a new tractor and worrying about the TN handling the baler I would just look for a used International or Ford that can handle the baler. I was thinking something along the size of the International 706-986 or Ford 7000-8600. Which is the best International or Ford tractor from that range as far as most reliable and all around best tractor. It will be used mostly for haying but will most likely see some time tilling a couple fields to get ready for next year. I am hoping to keep the price down to around $5-$8k and will trade it in on the new tractor next year. Thanks
I am sticking to International and Ford as those brands are what the dealers here sell that I trust. I don't care much for my JD dealers as they are all the same company and the only Agco dealer is a MF dealer who has a lousy parts department and are not too helpful. I would consider a Case though but do not know much about the Case line so any recomendations about a Case tractor I will listen to also.
