Back in the late 80's/ early 90's we were doing about a thousand acres of custom work a year plus our own. We cut every day that it wasnt supposed to rain for the next 2 days, even mowed in the rain. Now dad is just doing a 100 acres of grass/clover 2-3 cuttings a year. I'm cutting a 50-100 acres of alfalfa and mix 5-6x per year, and a couple hundred grass hay 1x-2x per year.
