Can anyone help. I have a 1586 while pulling anhydrous rig in 3rd low the tractor suddenly stopped when I restarted it it seems to be stuck between 2 gears or something because it just pulls down when you start to let outthe clutch. this only happened one time last fall and I was able to reach under the cab and move the linkages by hand until itfinally came free. this time no such luck. Just before this it seemed as if 1st and 2nd gears were not engaging when you moved the shifter it just felt like free travel. so I was going to heasd for home to look at the linkages but obviously didn't get that far> I have ran IH 66 & 86 series for quite a few years now and know that they don't always shift real smooth, but in the past it seems like you could always get it to work. I know that there is a pin in the shifting yoke inside under the transmission plate that can work out because I have had that happen on 1486 COuld that happen and the pin fall between 2 gears? any help would be great!
