Has anyone successfully used a stock hydraulic pump (like one form Grianger or McMaster-Carr) on a tractor that has an external, engine driven pump? I have an old 301 Allis 2900D with a failing hydraulic pump and need to either fix it or replace it. The used replacement pumps are pricey. I probably need new rotors and plate.
