I had been contemplating buying one for a couple of years. Thought it would be a 'nice to have' item. I fell into a real deal on an 1845C Case, and bought it. I use it almost every day on the farm. Also got more custom work than I know what to do with (and I am NOT cheap, $85.00 an hour with a 2 hr minimum). As far as renting it out, NO WAY. Best advice I ever got was you are better off loaning your wife than you are loan/renting out your bush hog, disc, discmower, or skid loader. Stay with custom work.
