Ford 2120 one way clutch on PTO

My PTO gave up today while mowing with my sickle bar. It would attempt to turn, but as soon as I started mowing it would stop. I pulled the cover off the transmission housing, engaged the PTO and can see the countershaft stop turning at the one way clutch. I was able to remove the countershaft out the rear of the tractor, and then remove the one way clutch. It does not appear to have any problems. Tomorrow I will be headed for the dealer to see if I can get a new one. I was just curious if anyone else has had this problem, and if there is anything I should be on the lookout for. My tractor is a 1989 model with 12 x 12 shuttle shift, and no creeper gear. Thanks, Esev.
