Trade the tractor. The 5000 and early 5010 series JD's are trouble. Brakes, hydraulics and transmission. Unlike the 2010 where they quite and went with a new design ( 2020 etc). They keep trying to patch up the same 5000 series. Even if they do finally get them right, the reputation has been ruined.
The new 5020 series are better. However the low profile 6000 series are being purchased to totaly avoid the horrible 5000/5010 series for people who want a small Deere tractor.
