John Deere 790 compact smoking

My little John Deere compact 790 diesel has only 150 hours but sputters and blows excessive white smoke especially when cold. I'm thinking the injectors need replacing/cleaning. Am I correct? I think I'm smart enough to find the injectors and pull them out but if I take them to the JD dealer will they service them? Thanks guys. Dan
