Thanks for the reply. The tractor has about 275 hrs of light duty field work, my use of it (bought used at 255 hrs) for the last 20 hours have been mostly brush cutting. Just before I discovered the light problem I had been in some overhanging limbs and got hung/stopped. That's the only thing I think that could have caused injury. I live about 65 miles from my property, and park the JD at my Aunt's house 3 miles down the road, so the lights are needed. My wife usually follows me in our van or station wagon with an amber strobe light on top so I'm being safe but one of these days I'll work past dusk and the lights will be needed. Another reason the lights haven't been fixed is when I'm with the tractor, I tend to want to work with her, not on her. Thanks again, Mark
